Gulnar is a woman (yes, she's a real woman, not just a brand name), lives and works in Goa (India) and is passionate about discovering and making completely natural products. Every new Gulnar product is used and tested by her husband and eight - year old son.
How natural are these Products?
All of them use the best of natural, botanical ingredients and none are tested on animals. However, they are not organic, in the sense of being made from organically grown plant ingredients. Some of our products are 100% chemical-free (those that are marked with '100% Natural'), Even the glycerine-based soaps, contain only small amounts of non-natural ingredients like preservatives to keep the products good to use for a longer period.

Gulnar soaps are handcrafted by rural women groups in india using natural ingredients, real leaves, petals and naturally occuring scrubs. They are sliced by hands and wrapped in a transparent film to showcase their natural ingredients. To maintain authenticity our product don't have the artificial perfect finish that factory-made soap do.
